Tallahassee and the Big Bend area has a rich history of ourdoors enthusiasm and mountain biking. Over the years, several local clubs have donated countless hours too help create, maintain, and preserve riding opurtunties for future generations.
Tallahassee and North Florida area mountain bicyclists gathered together and formed a chapter of SORBA... the Southern Off Road Bicycle Association and IMBA the International Mountain Bike Association.
The local chapter, the Tallahassee Mountain Bike Association, represents riders from the area and advocates for riding opurtunties while working with City, County, State and Federal representatives in an effort to present cycling, and specifically mountain biking, as a positive and beneficial activity for the whole community.
